Be Motivated Today

I received an email this morning from John Mason :

"Know your limits, then ignore them."
That's good advice. We all have limits. It's good to know what they are, but then we should simply carry on as if we don't have any.
Pierre de Chardin says: "Our duty as men and women is to proceed as if limits to our ability do not exist"
Our whole life has been one of breaking our limitations. Every time we learn and apply a new skill, we break through a past limit.

The problem is that we sometimes convince ourselves, with or without evidence, that we can't do something, and then we believe it. The more important, more complicated and time-consuming the task, the more we are daunted by it.

We tend to be limited by fear and comfort. We are afraid we will fail and don't like the idea of working long, hard hours on developing a new skill and then applying that skill to achieve a previously impossible goal.

Good News! You can do anything, Lerato. Plan it. Take your time, you'll get it right. There is no rush. The rewards are worth it, and you have the potential to do it.
Affirmations:
I can do great things
I work hard
I go beyond my limits
